Add the pepper and onion slices to a large bowl and add the oil, salt, garlic, cumin, paprika, black pepper and oregano. Toss until well combined.
Place the peppers and onions in the air fryer basket in a single layer as much as possible and air fry at 380°F for 8-10 minutes or until fork tender and beginning to char.
Remove the basket at the mid-way point and shake or stir the peppers and onions to ensure they cook evenly.
