This sweet, spicy Pineapple Mango Salsa is refreshing and bursting with tropical flavors—perfect for summer. Serve it with tacos or fish, or enjoy it as a dip with chips.

This pineapple mango salsa is packed with tropical flavors, featuring a perfect combination of sweetness and spiciness. The sweet mangoes and juicy pineapple, along with the red bell peppers and a hint of spice from the jalapenos, make the best salsa!
Unlike regular salsas, where you put all the ingredients in the food processor and make them. In this fruit salsa, you just dice the ingredients into small pieces and mix them together. It is similar to a pineapple pico de gallo.
Add Mango Pineapple Salsa to your meal for a tropical, tangy side that pairs wonderfully with Pear Juice. I love to serve this salsa as a side dish with spicy guacamole or at any party as an appetizer. It is such a fresh and colorful addition. Once you try this salsa, I bet you’ll find yourself craving more!

Ingredients
I love that this recipe uses all fresh ingredients that you can easily find. This salsa is very forgiving, and you can switch up the ingredients as you like. Below are the main ingredients I used:
- Fruit: The main ingredients of this salsa are mangoes and pineapple. Cut them into small pieces; this will help to scoop them with chips. You can also use canned pineapple if that’s what you have on hand. I recommend using pineapple that is canned in juice.
- Bell pepper: Cut it into small pieces. This will add some crunchiness to the salsa.
- Onion: Its savory flavor balances out the sweetness of mango and pineapple.
- Jalapeño: Adds an incredible spice kick to the salsa. Adjust the spice level to your taste. Add more for a spicy pineapple mango salsa or reduce to make it mild.
- Lime juice: Fresh lime juice brings all the flavors together.
- Garnish: You’ll need fresh cilantro for garnish.

How to Make Pineapple Salsa?
This is the easiest recipe you will ever make. The main effort is in chopping the ingredients. I recommend chopping them finely, about the same size.
Then, in a bowl, add all the ingredients – pineapple, mango, onions, red peppers, jalapeno, cilantro, salt, and lime juice. Toss it all well to combine.

Pineapple mango salsa is ready. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve!

Tips for Perfect Tropical Salsa
This is a super-easy recipe, but here are some tips to make sure you get the best flavor in your salsa!
- Use fresh, ripe pineapple and mango for the best sweet flavor.
- Cut the pineapple and mango into small pieces, which will help to easily scoop them with chips.
- If you want it less spicy, skip adding jalapeños.
- You can make this recipe with only pineapples for a spicy pineapple salsa or with just mangoes for a delicious mango salsa.
- You can add or substitute other fruits in this salsa – Avocado, Peach, or Strawberry. They will work perfectly in this salsa.
- If you don’t like bell peppers, you can substitute them with tomatoes or skip them.
How to Serve This Salsa?
This salsa is very versatile and can be served in many ways!
- You can have this delicious salsa as a dip with tortilla chips at your next BBQ or picnic.
- Top it on meat or protein such as salmon, chicken, or shrimp.
- Add it to your tacos or tostadas!
- Enjoy as an afternoon snack…I absolutely love eating this with a spoon!
How to Store?
Usually, I like to whip this salsa fresh just before the meal. But if you have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. The mangos and pineapple will not be as fresh and may release some moisture. Also, I do not recommend freezing it at all.
